My cycle to work and back takes over an hour overall, and it gets very cold out here in the east, so I bought this to keep the chilly wind from getting to my neck and chest. It's really effective for that, and I can pull it up over my face to protect my nose and mouth as well. The fabric does get a bit damp from breathing on it but not too badly. The fleece part at the bottom is super warm around the neck. My boyfriend has borrowed it too and he'll likely get his own now because he loved it.
