The rear wheel and axle are of a design that are not able to support replacing. My rear axle bent not to long after I put it on and I'm not riding on harsh surfaces. They are of a design that if it needs to be replaced I couldn't find one not even from the company that i bought the wheels from. The only way I'm going to get one is if I go to have one made at a machine shop. The front wheel is a quick release and I haven't had a problem, but the front doesn't go through the same stresses. I saw other mag wheels on amazon that show the axles separate from wheel. They look like every other axle on other bike wheels. I'm waiting for for those to arrive.
